Measure 37/49 claimants:

The state’s deadline for mailing Measure 49 claims has ended.  If you filed a Measure 37 claim with the state, you should now have your Measure 49 packet.  If you do not have a Measure 49 packet, CALL THE OREGON DEPARTMENT OF LAND CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT (DLCD) IMMEDIATELY!  The DLCD’s number is (503) 373-0050.

Remember, you have 90 days from the date your Measure 49 claim was mailed to you (look at the date on the cover letter included in the Measure 49 packet) to fill out you claim and return it to the DLCD, if you want to claim relief under Measure 49.  IF YOU DON’T RETURN YOUR FORM WITHIN 90 DAYS, YOU WILL NOT GET RELIEF UNDER MEASURE 49.

In the meantime, Oregonians In Action will continue to assist claimants with their claims, and with litigation to flesh out the details of Measure 49 and ensure that Measure 37 claimants get the maximum relief possible from their claims.
